Cheek Cell - Virtual Lab
Materials Needed
- Methylene blue (stain)
- Microscope slides / coverslips
- Toothpicks
- Microscope
Procedure:
1. Place a drop of methylene blue on a slide.
2. Use a toothpick to gently scrape the inside of your cheek.
3. Swirl the toothpick in the drop of methylene blue.
4. Place a coverslip over the drop.
5. View cells with the scanning, low power, and high power objective
