Website Project - Endangered Species
Objective: Design a webpage that showcases an endangered animal.
Procedure:
1) Choose an endangered animal from the World Wildlife Foundation
2) Research the animal using Google search (or similar)
3) Find at least one photo of the animal using google image search. Click on "creative commons" under the "Usage rights tab."
4) Open Google sites and choose a template from the "template gallery."
5) Include the following information on your web page:
- Common name and species name
- General information about the type of animal, description and photo
- Information about where the animal is found (image optional)
- List causes for the animal's population decline (why is it endangered?)
- Describe ways it which the animal is being protected
- List sources (websites you visited) to learn about your animal
